Saturday saw our first ship of aggregates arriving into Glasson Dock having travelled from Belfast with 2300MT of Aggregates.
The vessel, the MV Runner, arrived into Glasson Dock at around 2:30pm and was emptied by our Stevedore team through Saturday late afternoon and Sunday early morning. The ship sailed Sunday afternoon to collect its next shipment.
The aggregates are already being distributed by our fleet of tippers to our customers.
Hauling through ships further allows us to boost our sustainability initiatives, further decreasing our carbon footprint.
