A Commercial Port
Glasson Dock can accommodate vessels of up to 4500 DWAT, with a guideline maximum LOA of 90 metres and beam of 14 metres, on the drying NAABSA River Berths. The Inner Dock Berths can accommodate vessels up to a maximum 85 metres LOA.
The Lancaster Port Commission is the Competent Harbour Authority for Glasson Dock and operates the Pilotage Service using the pilot vessel ‘John Jacques’.
